New Shootsac!

So I haven't been here in a while. (blog tardy) I am working on a project that I can't post up until mid December or so. It is kind of a surprise. Speaking of surprises, I received an absolutely wonderful surprise today from three families I am shooting in November. The start of this really great day began with the coolest gift ever. I have been eyeing this item for quite some time, and it was SUPER kind of them to surprise me with it. I am now sporting a cool new Shootsac for my gear. It is just the design I would have picked too. AWESOME! I'm excited to try it out. I think changing lenses just got easier. Thank you Jeff, Kendyl, Christina, Ian, and two more I have still not had the pleasure to meet. I have had a BIG smile on my face all day long. I love you all and  I am really looking forward to November.

Back it up, Jack.

A small tremble. A shudder of fear. Turn ON. (please) Turn on.

I sat in front of my computer this morning. Waiting. Staring at a blue screen instead of the Kona wallpaper that is usually there
with folders lining his blank stare through the desktop. Try it once more, I thought. Turn it off and on again. Then, a flood of lists ran through my mind. Did I back that up? Did I pay that bill? Did I reply to that mail yet? Like many of you, I was living my life just fine without a computer years ago. Now, I panic if I don't have access. After the fourth try, and a lot of "I promise to" to you know who, success. My dog appeared. The folders that remind me of how busy I have been-there. Phew. NOW- back those up right NOW. I did. So, as a preventative measure to all of you out there who might not have backed up your "stuff"- back it up, Jack. (all my "stuff" is now safely stored) Save yourself a few skipped beats early in the morning. And have a very pleasant worry free day.

Lost.

Some days I am full of energy, excited, know my direction. Other days, like today, I can start to feel a little lost. I suppose that is normal. I began this venture to force myself out of my comfort zone. I have accomplished that. Check.

Pregnancy really just fits some people.

I should probably post pictures from a shoot all at once. But I just can't edit all at once, so sometimes the best get saved for last.
Lizz really doesn't look pregnant unless she turns sideways. And if she looks this good now...she is gonna be one smokin' mommy. Go girl!
